Jessica Bell graduated from the University of Akron with a degree in music and music education. She has been teaching music to children for over 10 years-piano, voice, and woodwind in her own studio and for after school programs including The Western Reserve Institute of Music and The Akron Digital Academy. Jessica was a lead singer in two local and touring rock bands, has directed middle school choirs and church choirs, sings cabaret and broadway with her partner Steve Bell at parties, weddings and other events, and is currently also director of contemporary music at High Street Christian Church. Jessica has taught at the Ohio Conservatory since 2003. She is a bright, energetic sunlit teacher-but she is nevertheless demanding. She has worked extensively with special needs children in Piano and music for the past three years and her results are remarkable. And she has a five-year-old daughter who can read any song that is put in front of her.
